Pregnancy Progression

Cicelyn + Marcus • Wedding

A few weeks ago, I officially went back to work from maternity leave and had the opportunity to photograph a stunning wedding in Fort Walton Beach, FL. From the moment Cicelyn and I met and talked, I knew I wanted to photograph her wedding and man was I lucky. Cicelyn and Marcus are an amazing couple, super fun, and very easy to be around. To top it off, their families are fantastic! We started off with a first look between M+C in the fabulous Historic District of Fort Walton Beach, then went to the gorgeous afternoon sun to have their beach wedding. The light was killer and got me super excited to be back at work. I am so happy to have been with them on their gorgeous day. Thanks guys and many many congrats!!!

OK, so I am doing things a little out of order. From now on I want to post sneak peaks within a few days of shooting. So I am trying to get into the groove of things. I am on maternity leave still, but this was a gift to my wonderful friends. I thought baby portraits were in order for their firstborn son! With that said, this little guy puts a whole new meaning to the term – baby blues! Take a look :)

It has been a long time friends! I am so sorry for that. Shooting, editing, and preparing for the baby has been consuming my life, and because of that I have been very backed up on blog posts. But alas, I am finally on maternity leave! Since I am finding myself with a little free time, I want to catch up on old blog posts! So please keep checking back! I hope to add some new posts daily! My clients have the most beautiful eyes! Again I had a wonderful opportunity to get to know another amazing family, Grandparents and all! The two youngest member of this family have the most stunning eyes and I know where they get it from! Mom and Dad have gorgeous eyes too. It's funny how I never realize these things until I'm staring at them for hours on the computer! But anyway take a peak at the latest family portraits! Hope you guys like them. Enjoy!

I love people in love! There is just something so refreshing about it, I also love that spring is finally coming to lower Alabama! When Kelly asked me to do engagement pictures for her upcoming wedding I was stoked, I was even more stoked when the day came to shoot and we had AMAZING weather! The whole day just had a fresh feeling, from Kelly's bright green sweater to the color of this couples eyes! Man are they going to have beautiful babies! Thanks guys I had a blast! Hope you did too!

Nicole contacted me a while back about doing a surprise Valentine's Day session for her and her husband as a gift to him. With small children at home this awesome couple didn't have any picture of just themselves. Winners of the Hollyday Mart auction, the Clark Family and I ventured out on a very cold day and took our chances with weather to get some awesome shots of the little Bryson. A little over a year old Bryson was a very curious little guy and was checking everything out on East Beach at Lake Tholocco. I had a hard time keeping up with him! Overall everyone did a great job in the cold and I truly enjoyed myself! Hope you guys like them!!! Thanks for another great opportunity!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to to explore a local family farm. Just outside of Daleville, the matriarch of the Triplett family welcomed me onto the farm her husband grew up on. I took various pictures of her beautiful family including her children and their familes! The property has an amazing variety of landscapes and backdrops to choose from. As soon as I got there I was offered the golf cart to scoot around the property and see what there was to offer. It was hard to choose from! Here are a few from each session. I had a blast! Let me tell you, this group of kids and young adults made my day! They were so easy to photograph and fun!!!! I had a blast with them Wednesday morning as we walked and talked all over the Enterprise Recreational Park. Their mom gave me some rad tips about the area and was also just as fun to be around. Saturday I had the chance to photograph another wonderful couple, their beautiful daughter Nina, and their awesome dog Charlie. The weather was a little gray, but it held out for us as we walked around the East Beach Park at Lake Tholocco. Thanks guys for another day that reminds me why I love my job!

Better late then never right? Well finally here a few quick images from our Halloween night. Ruby was a shark, our pumpkin was infested with little mice, and I had our sidewalk lined with handmade mason jar lamps so the trick-or-treaters could see their way to our front door. It was a fun evening for all of us.

Choose from the new designs for 2009. All are flat photographic cards with envelopes. You can choose from metallic or lustre paper, vertical or horizontal designs. The cards are sold in packs of 25 and the prices are $30 for metallic paper and $25 for lustre paper.

The deadline for these cards is December 10th in order for them to be in your hands in time for mailing.

Michigan Wedding!

I recently had the honor of being a groomswoman at my bestfriend Bob's wedding in Michigan. While there I was able to capture a couple quick images of the BEAUTIFUL fall colors!
